History of HEI

Hope Electric Inc. is a dependable and innovative Electrical and Automation leader, which has been serving the agricultural and commercial industry since 1978. Delivering safe and efficient application to projects throughout the midwest is the primary focus of HEI. With over 70 well-trained professionals, HEI is able to deliver solutions for projects ranging from troubleshooting a simple problem, to complete turnkey electrical and automation applications for any size project. HEI's primary office is located in Hope, ND, with offices in Fargo and Valley City. We are a licensed electrical contractor in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana. Our automation division is capable of taking on projects nationwide, and we are able to do projects of any size.

Automation and Electrical Controls
Our area of expertise with automation and electrical controls is in the agricultural industry. We can design, and install an automated control package for any agricultural facility, including grain elevators, Milling plants and processing plants, just to name a few. Our company offers such services as designing UL 508a listed Automation Panel Building, Hardware & Software sales and installation, and complete Turnkey Automated Control system wiring. Our areas of Controls expertise, include: Control System Design, New Systems, Retrofits, Additions, Upgrades, drafting (CAD), PLC Based Systems and Programming, Control Panel Design and Fabrication.

UL listed
As a UL 508a custom panel builder we can design a control panel or system to meet the needs of your facility. This could be a large panel to control your entire plant or a smaller panel for a particular addition to your existing system. A panel with a UL label on it means it is built to the specific requirements of Underwriters Laboratory from which HEI has been approved.

Ongoing training
Our staff at HEI attend regular training and safety courses to keep up-to-date with all changes and to remain well educated in our field of expertise.

 

  • Our Automation leaders attend classes and seminars regularly to keep up-to-date with changes and updates to the field of Automation

  • HEI provides an Apprentice Training Course, approved by the U.S. Department of Labor for all of our apprentices.

  • HEI Journeymen attend Continuing Education Classes to ensure that their work methods and applications are continually up-to-date.

  • HEI conducts monthly safety meetings to comply with the standards set by OSHA and other national safety organizations.
